Children’s Ministry2021-03-10T16:52:44-06:00

We are currently going through The Gospel Project curriculum in Sunday School. This is a comprehensive, Bible teaching plan for babies through adults. Each week all age groups read the same story and discover how it points to Jesus. Parents and grandparents can then disciple their kids throughout the week as they talk about the lesson!

Kids can be checked in prior to attending here. Once you arrive, we’ll scan the QR code on your phone and print name tags complete with a number that matches their guardians.

Building Blocks of Faith

In our Children’s Ministry, we strive to help our kids develop the first building blocks of a strong faith in Christ. In this, we want to help parents teach Biblical truths to their kids.

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Psalm 127:3-4

Much like “arrows in the hands of a warrior”, our ultimate goal is to help parents raise kids in a way that, teaches them to love God and love people. We desire our kids to be equipped for service with sound doctrine and hearts willing to go where the Lord calls them.

Sunday School

On Sunday mornings, beginning at 10:00am, we have classes for ages 0-4, Kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, middle school, high school, and adults.

AWANA

Our AWANAs program is on Wednesday nights, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, during the school year. AWANAs is for children entering preschool through students entering the 12th grade.

  • Cubbies: Preschool boys and girls
  • Sparks: K through 2nd grade boys and girls
  • T&T: 3rd-6th grade boys and girls
  • Trek: 7th-12th grade boys and girls

The acronym “AWANA” stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” and is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15:

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

AWANA is a proven international children’s program that combines the good news of Jesus, Scripture memorization and plenty of FUN!

AWANA Club dues are $10 per semester, per child ($20 total, per year). This pays for all handbooks, uniforms, snacks and club supplies. Scholarships are available, Learn More.
