Training Up the Youngest Members of God’s Household

The Gospel Project

We use The Gospel Project in all of our Sunday School classes. This curriculum helps all ages dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. Over the course of three years, participants study all of Scripture in a Christ-centered and age appropriate way. Our passion is to equipping parents to disciple their children, and one way that we’re doing that is intentionally studying the same content as our children. This empowers parents to lead the way in discussing Biblical stories and theology around the dining room table!

Children’s Church

While we love having children in the worship service, we realize that many aren’t ready to sit through a sermon yet. After the singing and prayers, Pastor Daniel will invite children who would like to attend to follow the leaders downstairs to Children’s Church. Generally kids ages 3-3rd grade attend, though any child is welcome to go. Our volunteers lead them in an age appropriate lesson usually consisting of singing their catechism questions, reading a Bible story, and making a related craft. We guarantee they’ll not only have fun, but learn a lot too!

Pioneer Club

Pioneer Clubs’ mission is training up children and youth to follow Christ in every aspect of life by providing Biblically based and educationally sound resources. Our Christ-centered programs integrate spiritual and personal development to help boys and girls build healthy relationships with caring Christian adults, peers and, most importantly, Christ. Pioneer Clubs is unique because of its participative Bible study, Scripture memory, life skills training and emphasis on relational discipleship and outreach. Club runs Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm, during September-April (if there is no school, there is no club).

What is your nursery like?2022-03-08T12:56:14-06:00

Nursery care is available beginning at 8:50am for kids age 0-3. Older children can enjoy the singing during the worship service and will then be released to Children’s Church during the sermon if they would like to attend. We take every precaution to ensure your children are safe, and have a great time! We complete criminal background checks and provide training for all who serve in kids ministry.

Do you have a worship service for young children?2022-03-08T12:53:19-06:00

Children are welcome in any service, and many of our families prefer family-integrated worship. We also offer Children’s Church for children ages 3-3rd grade who would like to attend. There, we aim to share the truth of God’s Word in an effective way at an appropriate age level. Usually they will learn a catechism question through song, read a Bible story, and complete a related craft. We require two adults in any room with children, and complete background checks on all who serve in kids ministry.

On Sunday morning, we have nursery available for kids 0-3, and Children’s Church during the sermon for kids 3-3rd grade, as well as age-graded Sunday School classes that follow the worship service. On Wednesday nights during the school year, there is the very popular Pioneer Club program, which is like Christian Scouting. Learn more about Pioneer Club and our other ministries for children.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.Heb. 10:24-25

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.1 Pet. 4:10

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith. Eph 4:11-13
