Building Blocks of Faith
In our Children’s Ministry, we strive to help our kids develop the first building blocks of a strong faith in Christ. In this, we want to help parents teach Biblical truths to their kids.
Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Psalm 127:3-4
Much like “arrows in the hands of a warrior”, our ultimate goal is to help parents raise kids in a way that, as they mature in their faith, are deployed to the world.
On Sunday mornings, beginning at 10:00am, we have grade-specific Sunday School classes. In these classes, we explore great Biblical truths with our children.
Our AWANAs program is on Wednesday nights, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, during the school year. AWANAs is for children entering preschool through students entering the 12th grade.
- Cubbies: Preschool boys and girls
- Sparks: K through 2nd grade boys and girls
- T&T: 3rd-6th grade boys and girls
- Trek: 7th-12th grade boys and girls
The acronym “AWANA” stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” and is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15:
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
