Building a Biblical Worldview

Here at Wellsville Baptist, youth are encouraged to grow into maturity, knowledge of Scripture, wisdom, and service. God’s people are part of the Body of Christ, regardless of their age, and so we provide opportunities for them to engage in meaningful work and relationships. Following the service, there is a Sunday school class for teens in 6th-12th grade that they may choose to attend, or they are more than welcome to remain with the rest of the family and attend an adult class together. Wednesday night small groups are family integrated and many youth enjoy the discussions and soccer games that typically follow! Many other fun activities are planned sporadically throughout the year.

Each Sunday morning, from 10:30-11:30 am during Sunday School, and Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00 pm during small groups, youth gather to hear the gospel of Christ proclaimed, and are exhorted to be lights in their home and community. Willing mentors are available to teens who would like to be paired with an adult for discipleship!

You can follow The Honest Youth Pastor on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, his blog, and probably everywhere else too! THYP creates a lot of content centered around teaching youth how to think critically about a variety of topics and making theology more accessible. He reviews pop culture sermons and points out different fallacies, as well as topically examines issues that are important to teens.
