Building a Biblical Worldview

The youth group at Wellsville Baptist Church is for students entering the 6th through 12th grades. Outside of our Sunday School and Wednesday night gatherings, our youth attend an array of other activities, including concerts, conferences, service opportunities, and mission trips. Our mission is to equip teens with a Biblical worldview and give them the knowledge and the confidence to live out the Great Commandment, Great Commission, and to be and build Gospel Community.

Discipleship

Each Sunday morning, from 10:30-11:30am and Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00pm, youth gather to hear the gospel of Christ proclaimed, and are exhorted to be the lights in their home and community. Each gathering begins with a fun & fellowship, including games and energetic team building exercises, followed by worship, snacks, and small-group discussions.

5th Quarters

After each home high school football or basketball game, Wellsville Baptist Church hosts “5th Quarter” in the Family Center.  All middle school and high school age youth are invited for a time of fellowship, devotion, and food!

THYP creates a lot of content centered around teaching youth how to think critically about a variety of topics and making theology more accessible. He reviews pop culture sermons and points out different fallacies, as well as topically examines issues that are important to teens.

EQUIP

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith. Eph 4:11-13
