Where do I park?2022-03-08T12:58:03-06:00

Parking is plentiful at Wellsville Baptist Church.  As you arrive, you’ll find several parking spaces in close proximity to the buildings, both in the parking lot, and along the street.

What do I do when I enter the building?2022-03-08T12:57:17-06:00

There will be greeters at the front doors to help you and your children. They can direct you to the nursery, will tell you about Children’s Church which takes place during the sermon, and can show you around to all of the classrooms. Please ask any questions you may have!

What is your nursery like?2022-03-08T12:56:14-06:00

Nursery care is available beginning at 8:50am for kids age 0-3. Older children can enjoy the singing during the worship service and will then be released to Children’s Church during the sermon if they would like to attend. We take every precaution to ensure your children are safe, and have a great time! We complete criminal background checks and provide training for all who serve in kids ministry.

Do you have a worship service for young children?2022-03-08T12:53:19-06:00

Children are welcome in any service, and many of our families prefer family-integrated worship. We also offer Children’s Church for children ages 3-3rd grade who would like to attend. There, we aim to share the truth of God’s Word in an effective way at an appropriate age level. Usually they will learn a catechism question through song, read a Bible story, and complete a related craft. We require two adults in any room with children, and complete background checks on all who serve in kids ministry.

What should I expect in worship?2022-03-08T12:48:08-06:00

We sing, pray, read, and preach the Word of God. It is our desire to simply and sincerely glorify Him in all that we do. Generally there are two songs at the beginning, and another two at the end. We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and then the pastor delivers an expository sermon (he teaches directly from the Word of God). There is Children’s Church available for kids ages 3-3rd grade, and nursery for those under 3.

What is available for young children?2022-03-08T12:49:37-06:00

On Sunday morning, we have nursery available for kids 0-3, and Children’s Church during the sermon for kids 3-3rd grade, as well as age-graded Sunday School classes that follow the worship service. On Wednesday nights during the school year, there is the very popular Pioneer Club program, which is like Christian Scouting. Learn more about Pioneer Club and our other ministries for children.

What is available for my junior high and high school children?2022-03-08T12:42:37-06:00

We have a very active youth group for both middle and high schoolers. They will enjoy their own Sunday School class in the Family Center, and youth group on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8pm.  Learn more about our youth group.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together…but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.Heb. 10:24-25

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.1 Pet. 4:10

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith. Eph 4:11-13
